The Bayliss Foundation has been distributing scholarships to outstanding broadcast students for over 20 years. In 2005, the Bayliss Foundation began a partnership with top communications schools in an effort to bring a strong radio presence to college campuses. In addition to awarding a scholarship to a worthy student at each of these "Bayliss Schools", several scholarships may be awarded to exceptional applicants attending other universities across the United States.

Please note that scholarships are not available to graduate-level students at this time as the Board reviews its criteria for students studying for post graduate degrees.

Juniors and seniors majoring in Broadcast Communications who have maintained a 3.0 GPA or better are encouraged to apply. Although financial need is a consideration, students of merit with an extensive history of radio-related activities are given preference. Applicants must provide a transcript, a resume, three letters of recommendation evaluating their scholastic and personal strengths and a descriptive page outlining his or her future broadcasting goals. Awards are announced in the summer and applied toward the fall semester.
